Solar Founder William R. Jones Featured In “Hall of Innovators
William R. Jones, founder and Chief Executive Officer of Solar Manufacturing, Inc., was recognized in Industrial Heating magazine’s 80th Anniversary Issue in the “Hall of Innovators.” Nine honorees were selected for inclusion based on their significant contributions to the thermal-processing industry.
Mr. Jones has nearly 50 years of experience in the field of vacuum furnace design and vacuum processing. During this time, he has written many technical publications on vacuum technology and holds 15 patents on various aspects of furnace design and thermal processing.. He founded 91´«Ã½ in 1982 which has grown to be the largest privately owned commercial heat-treating company and continues to lead the industry with innovative products and solutions.
Mr Jones states “I am honored to be included in this well-respected group of dedicated people who have shaped the thermal-processing industry. I would like to thank Industrial Heating and its advertisers who made this possible,”
