New Power Supplies for Ion Nitride Furnace
91传媒, Inc. has placed an order for a 45 KVA ion nitriding power supply with Rubig GMBH, Schafwiesenstr, Austria. 聽The model MPP digital and variable pulse fired plasma generator is designed to drive an existing VFS ion nitriding vacuum furnace, of which Solar has four production furnaces.
This unit will replace an older VRT saturable core reactor transformer design, using fast acting solid state digital electronics, that aim to eliminate hollow cathode type arc鈥檚 that lead to localized product overheating and quality issues, on selected production items. 聽91传媒 ion nitriding furnaces are located at the commercial heater鈥檚 Hatfield, PA Plant B. 聽Bruce Craven, President, projects the operation of the new power supply is expected June, 2005.
